Privacy Policy
Information handling on our informational business website.
This policy describes information handling associated with Folsom Tool Corporation’s informational business website. The site has no contact forms, visitor accounts, online checkout or file-upload feature. That does not mean that visiting it involves no collection or transmission of technical information.
Website delivery and technical information
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website through Cloudflare Pages. Serving and protecting a page involves technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser and device details, request time, and security or error information. Cloudflare’s response headers also enable network-error reporting in browsers that support it; those browsers may send connection and request-failure reports to Cloudflare.
These hosting and network operations are separate from a contact form or an advertising tracker. Cloudflare’s handling of information is described in its Privacy Policy. We do not state a fixed retention period for Cloudflare’s technical records or control every aspect of its processing.
Cookies, browser storage and analytics
The website’s own application does not set cookies or save visitor information in local or session storage. This version of the website does not include an analytics or advertising tracking script. Hosting services and third-party content may still process technical information or use cookies under their own policies, including for security or service operation.
You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Blocking third-party resources may affect fonts or the embedded map. An absence of application cookies does not prevent a server from receiving the information needed to deliver a request.
Google Fonts and the contact-page map
Pages request fonts from Google Fonts. Those requests send technical information, including your IP address and browser request details, to Google. The contact page contains a Google Maps embed that is loaded lazily as it approaches the visible area. When it loads, your browser connects directly to Google; Google may receive technical information and use cookies or account-related information according to its own settings and policies.
Google’s Privacy Policy explains its practices. The “Get directions” link also opens Google Maps. You can use the street address and telephone number on our contact page without interacting with the map.
Email and telephone contact
If you choose to email or call us, you provide the information in that communication, such as your name, contact details and inquiry. That correspondence is handled to respond to you and address the business matter you raise. Your email or telephone provider and the providers delivering the communication also process it under their own practices.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal information, confidential technical material or export-controlled information through an unsolicited email. This website is not a secure document-submission service. Contact us to discuss an appropriate way to share business materials.
Other websites and documents
Links to external websites and documents, including certification documents, directions and the website designer’s site, lead to services with their own privacy practices. This policy does not govern those services. Review their policies before providing information.
